Grading Policy and Course Termination

How are the courses graded?  How will I know I passed?

Grading varies by state

TEXAS:

Students must pass 70% of the course questions and validation questions in order to gain access to the final exam.

The Text based course is graded in the format below:

  • Reading/Course questions: 13 missed will terminate the course
  • Video Clip questions: 12 missed will terminate the course
  • Identity questions: 7 missed will termiate the course

The final exam has 3 attempts to pass with a score of 70%.  The final is timed; students are given 15 minutes to answer 20 questions.  

 The Video based course is graded in the format below:

  • Video questions: 13 missed will terminate the course
  • Identity questions: 7 missed will termiate the course

NEW JERSEY

After each lesson, is a quiz. Each lessons quiz ranges from 2 questions to 5 questions . Quizzes have 3 attempts to pass with a score of 80%.  

 FLORIDA

After the video segments students have a quiz. Each quiz has 10 questions. You have unlimited attempts to pass with a minimum score of 80%. The final exam is 20 questions.  The final has unlimited attempts to pass with a minimum score of 80%.
